When A&R developed an eight-story garage for the City of Baltimore, our team had the foresight to plan for future development by negotiating the air rights and designing the structure to accommodate an apartment building.

The completed structure, which is adjacent to the University of Maryland Baltimore, includes a 770 space parking garage owned by the City and a luxury rental building with 151 apartment homes.  Designed for working professionals and graduate students, this pioneering project was important in the resurgence of downtown living in Baltimore and helped spark redevelopment of the city’s west side.
